Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Colombo – Sigiriya (190kms) (Highly recommended to book a flight which arrives in the morning)

On arrival at Colombo airport assistance & transfer to Sigiriya. On the way visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage to see the largest gathering of tamed elephants in the world.
On arrival check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon climb Sigiriya rock fortress. This iconic tourist attraction is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the oldest landscaped gardens in the world. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Sigiriya – Kandy (90kms)

After breakfast leave for Kandy, en-route visit spice garden in Matale. Hindu Tempe, Later visit Temple of the tooth relic, a UNESCO world heritage site. Also visit Kandy view point, Kandy Lake, Kandyan cultural show, Gem museum and lapidary. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Udawalawe (250kms)

After breakfast drive to Udawalawe via Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka hill country. En-route visit tea plantation, tea factory and tea shop, Hanuman Temple, Seetha Amman Temple On arrival check-in at hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 4: Udawalawe – South Beach (110kms)

After breakfast safari at Udawalawe national park. Check Out drive to south coast beach, and check in at hotel. The palm fringed snow-white sandy pristine beaches are heaven for leisure seekers in Sri Lanka. Rest time free and easy to relax. O/n at hotel.

Day 5: Whale watching – Galle Tour

Early morning leave for a whale watching tour of Mirissa. After the whale watching tour a boat tour of turtle beach and watching stilt fishermen in Unawatuna. Later a sightseeing tour of southern coast of Sri Lanka, visit sea turtle conservation project, Unwatuna beach and guided walking tour of Galle fort. O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Galle – Colombo (145kms) (Highly recommended to book a flight which leave in the night)

After breakfast take train ride along the south and west coast of Sri Lanka. En-route boat tour at Madu estuary (Ramsar wetland), mangrove lagoon and visit cinnamon island. Thereafter drive to Colombo and drop off to airport.
